The first race weekend for the Australian V8 Supercars for 2012 has started today. It can be viewed here at different times. (Select V8 from the list on the left).
Dave.
Check This Out!!!
Dave.
Nice pic Krusty13.
Found a few more impressive images-
Cheers.
Ha Ha! I love the "Norton v6 Out Now".
@ Smithy.
Very Nice.
Dave.
Hi Krusty13
The A9X is what he should have driven all the time not those things
Found On the Rubbish Dump
You might have guessed i am a Holden supporter.
Nice YouTube clip well done.
What a classic piece of Australian history the A9X. Had a Torana myself
a LX Sunbird a rather unique Holden itself like the A9X.
What a legend Dick Johnson met him a couple of times a nice bloke.
Cheers.
EDIT - Sorry mispelt name.
Found On the Rubbish Dump !!!!
I don't take offence Smithy
Only just Holden together.
Not only have I met DJ, but I have also sat in his seat.. (a QLD thing )...true!
Sunbird?? Hahahahahahhahaahahahha!!!, you might as well had a HQ
Dave.
The Sunbird was'nt a bad old bus but i must say it was unique or
rare probably becasue of the name.
Had a HQ sort of, a tricked out 1 tonne HZ with a HQ front end and
all the bells and whistles being the balanced blue printed engine
and suspension package.
But back to the A9X of Brocky's sad he went so early had the chance
to meet him once but he was so busy signing autographs that i gave
up, what a shame.
The two all time great rivals of V8's in Oz Peter Brock and Dick Johnson.
Many memories of the rivalry.
And the big step for 2013 will now be the trio of manufacturers with Nissan
joining the competition with Holden and Ford.
What do you think of that.?
I think it will be interesting.
Cheers.
What do you think of that.? Ido agree, will spice up the championship. Ford v's Holden is OK, but throw Nissan in to the mix... Can't be bad.
What a sad week that was? Steve Irwin and Peter Brock within days.... What had Aussie's done?
Dave
The legend of Nissans might have to make a come back or
even drive one at Bathurst.- Skaifey.
Hopefully the Nissans won't blitz the rivals like they did in the
Skyline days.
Had a Skyline engine in a Commodore i had once and it went like
a rocket, they know thier stuff Nissan.
I would have thought that a company like Lexus or Toyota would
have been the first to enter the V8s but i was wrong.
Cheers.
Peter Brock -- Australian (racing) Legend, Very sadly missed.

... The Nissan's wont be all-wheel drive this time.
I miss mini's racing RT Charger's and GTHO's... They were the days.
Dave.
Hi all
Nice Hurricane Concept Car Krusty13
This would be my fav Holden concept car-
What a machine so awesome the way it was built and fitted out.
A real bit of mixing the old and the new.
Just wish i had one for a bit of cruising around Saturday Night.
Aussie Muscle Car at it's best.
Cheers.
Very mean looking Mad Max Interceptor car.
I might put in a order for one of those.
And i like the first image with the big bug zapper bumper for all the
big roos on the highway.
Cheers.
