I get the title message off and on every time I am now on my computer. I am currently running Norton 360 20.3.0.36. I run scans no problem. I run Norton Power Eraser. Nothing found. I have restarted the PC in recovery safe mode with networking and still nothing found. The message points to User\my name\appdata\local\temp\sptemp\ijl15.dll.63500255248. The number changes. It is described as High file risk Threat Type: Heuristic Virus. Detection of a threat based on malware heuristics. There is nothing there because it is a temporary file. I have deleted all new downloads and their folders before this was occurring. I have even deleted older stuff and reinstalled on a different drive. I don't have a point in time backup before this problem. FYI at the same time this was occurring I suddenly could only create a briefcase vs a folder. After much research I was able to get back to creating folders and eliminated the briefcase option.
I really want to get rid of this virus. I have read all the old posts and it seems none of them apply. I ran NPE based upon one of those post by Norton following the instructions.
