Hi there.
For the past 4 days my Norton auto-protect has been popping up every 5 mins warning me that it is detecting threats, then blocking them. This happens even when offline so I'm worried there is a file or something buried within my files.
The threats are: when logging in: 'ZeroAccess P2P'
Then every 5 mins they are: ZeroAccess B and C and Trojan Gen 2 and Gen 3
I've used the full system scan and the Norton Power Eraser but both return 0 threats (apart from removing tracking cookies)
This seemed to start after I transferred pics from my phone to my pc but have done this in the past and it has never caused problems before.
Having read up a little on what the ZeroAccess P2P, ZeroAccess Trojan B and C, and Trojan.Gen.2 and Gen.3 I'm concerned.
So far it says that Norton is blocking all the attempts for them to 'attack' but I'm not sure that's the case- especially since these attacks come even when I'm disconnected from the internet.
Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.
I'm running a Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit OS.
NOTEBACK- within the last 30 minutes, a lot of the security threats in my 'history' have gone from being 'Blocked' to 'Pending'. Should this be a worry? Can I take any extra measures to help? Thanks again.
