Auto-Protect Error

Need help.  I have Norton 360 Version 5.1.0.29.  It is telling me that I an unprotected and when I go into my settings it says the auto-protect is OFF and will not let me turn it on.  It was working fine up until about 5 days ago.

If you get the same error even after doing the above stated steps. Please try to uninstall and reinstall Norton.

 

To uninstall Norton go to the website stated below. download the Norton removal tool.

 

www.norton.com/nrt

 

Once the Norton is installed from the computer restart the computer and got the website below and save the Norton setup file to the desktop.

 

Norton 360 Standard Edition - www.norton.com/n360s_5

Norton 360 Premier Edition - www.norton.com/n360p_5

 

Run the setup file after completing the download and it should take care of the problem for you.

Thanks Dinish.  Running the LiveUpdate seems to have corrected my problem.
