I have a Dell Inspiron 1012 Mini with Windows XP Home SP3. I have had NIS on it for 2 years now with no problems...had the old "netbook" edition. I renewed my subscription successfully in Feb. For the past two weeks, I have been getting Error 3035,6 (and some other numbers after the 3035, but I haven't written them all down. When I go to the support website it tells me that I have other security software that I need to uninstall and then run Live Update a bunch. There is no other security software on the system. It came with Norton. I have run Live Update a million times until it says "not required". I have run virus scans on the system to confirm that there are no viruses/spyware/etc. Today I uninstalled/reinstalled NIS from My Norton Account. I have version 20.3.1.22 now. But it is still reporting that my PC is at risk and has the first square red. It says, "your PC is not automatically protected from viruses..." and when I click "fix now" it runs the fix for "auto-protect" and then comes up and says it cannot fix it and refers me to the support site. Please help!
Just for you, I checked control panel again, for the third time, even though I knew there was no other security software installed...guess what? Still no other security software installed, just as I said in the original post. NIS is the only security software that has ever been on the system and it has been working properly for the past two years...until the last couple weeks.
I downloaded and ran NRnR and ran Live Update until it said "completed" and "not required". After reinstall/reboot/run live update...it was good for about 5 minutes and then came up with the error again. The little notification bubble pops up in the bottom right corner and says that I have turned off my antivirus and my computer may not be protected. Even though I've touched nothing and not turned off my antivirus or anything else. Then it has a red X and has error 3035,6. When I go in and click the "fix now" it tries to fix "auto-protect" and then the status says "not fixed."

Do you have Malwarebytes Anti-Malware installed? Error 3035,6 has been seen when Norton Autofix detects a conflict with Malwarebytes:
Please run Norton Autofix to check:
- Open NIS 2013 > Support > Get Support.
- Select the 'Copy to Clipboard' link in the 'Norton Autofix' window when Autofix completes and paste this copied information into your next reply.
If you do have Malwarebytes installed, then the other error that you may have seen is Error 3035,10 (as shown in the following posts):
Please paste your Norton Autofix results into your next reply.
Thanks
