I just started up a new computer that had Norton Internet Security on it. It says I am not protected and that I need to "Fix Now" so I click "Fix Now" and as it goes through the Auto Protect, it finishes and states, item "Auto Protect" Status, "Not Fixed." The top says "Fix Not Complete." Any thoughts?

Mcrmoz: That doesn't happen on mine, I can run system restore without turning that off, didn't used to in earlier Norton versions, but doesn't affect mine from going back successfully

Mcrmoz: This happens also to sonar when you go back to a system restore date, then update Norton Security,
You cannot run System Restore on your computer when Norton Product Tamper Protection is turned on. You must temporarily turn off Norton Product Tamper Protection to run a successful System Restore.
This happens also to sonar when you go back to a system restore date, then update Norton Security, it says that computer is at risk, but just close Norton and instead of a restart, log off, and shutdown computer, then startup and give it time to load everything, maybe 5 mins. Open Norton and you should see that everything is Green and you are protected also green tick on the system icon. If not then update, then shut down again and then turn on again.
