Auto-renew seems to have turned itself back on and I unknowingly purchased a subscription I am no longer using. How do I get a refund? When I called customer service I was told that there is a 60 day window and would not refund my money. I thought it important to share this so web administrators can fix it. Shame on me for not staying on top of it. I will not make this mistake again. Putting a reminder on my phone.
This happened to me last year. Call the support line and talk to them and let them know what happened. I was not only upset because the auto-renew changed without my permission, but they charged me like $110 for a 1 year 10 device package which I can purchase everywhere else for $50. They refunded my money and brought the price down to match Amazon's price.Have the link to the Amazon Norton Security Premium open so you can tell them the exact price (49.99). They also turned off the auto-renew and it stayed off. It's time right now for me to renew and I'll be using Amazon to purchase the renewal because it's less than half the price of purchasing it through Norton. Norton counts on people auto-renewing and ripping them off. It's really very shady.
Worst case scenario, contact Support and ask for the two subscriptions to be combined. At least you won't lose everything.
try Chat with Official Norton Support again....maybe, different agent will help.
...and in your Norton account remove your credit card payment information.
