Hi,
I have searched and did not find a solution.
I have automatic renewal that happens in 22 days (and counting...). My credit card is registered and ready to go. I got an email saying so. When i follow it's links, the web pages say i don't have to do anything.
Yet about 12 times a day a nag pops up while i'm trying to work that says there is a problem with protection. Aside from the Little Boy Who Cried Wolf issue, this is simply not acceptable behaviour for software.
From the control panel, I try the Subscriptions link and the Norton renewal site says i'm all set and will be renewed in 22 days. Why can't the mother ship tell my client that?
I'd be willing to loose the 22 days i have left and renew early, but i can't find out how to do that either as i have a 3 PC license and only see single PC options.
There's a real catch 22 going on here. The client says i have a problem the server says i don't.
I'd love to say what version i'm using, but after 5 minutes or searching i cannot find a version number. This is shameful design.
How do i stop the Nag? If it goes on much longer, i'm killing the whole thing and will try another A/V app for a year. I've already put up with a week and it drove me to endure registering for a forum in which i have no other interest.
(Oh, and OT, is it all that difficult for the writers of the forum registration code to check for password Cap letters AND a number IN THE SAME Submit?)
Symantec, you must understand that i have already spent 90% more time than i have for a utility that should sit in the background and protect the computer, particularly when fed an automatic renewal.
How do i stop this Nag that has popped up twice since i started typing this?
(Oh, and the web control into which i'm typing this can't keep up with Alt+arrow cursor gestures.)
