Auto-renewal took my money, but didn't renew the license

Hello! Today I've faced a weird thing. I got a call from bank saying I had a negative amount on my debit card account. I was a bit suprised, cause I didn't use that card for a while.

I went to Internet-banking site and took the list of last transactions.

And there I say this:

23.11.2011 (Visa Debit)Оплата товарів/послуг 21.11.2011 в NORTON ANNUAL RENEWAL USD -86.49 -86.49

                                           Paying for goods/services

Actually my subscription did end a couple of days before. And since my card had no money on it, I was going to renew manually today.

But today I found out that it was already done automatically, BUT the Norton still says I need to Renew. It didn't work somehow.

Could you help me please?

Or could you at least tell me who I should address with my problem?

I really wouldn't like to pay twice for subscription. This is obviously a system mistake.

Thanks in advance.

Hi, momijigari,

Don't worry, if the money is gone, your subscription renewed just fine. Your subscription record is maintained on Norton's servers, so what you're seeing just means that the copy of Norton on your local computer hasn't synched up yet. To tell the synch to happen now, you can reboot your computer, or you can pull up your main Norton screen, select the Support option all the way to the right of the menu un top, and from there click the item to check/synchronize your subscription status.

Let us know whether this takes care of it for you. If by chance not, you can contact Norton's Live Chat customer support and they can generally resolve any subscription issue within minutes.
