I'm trying to use the AutoFill feature, to fill in my username and passwords. When I go to a selected website, the login screen comes up and NIS does fill in the username. Then I'm directed to another screen, where I enter my password. I can't get the password to fill in. What settings do I need to check, to get both screens to AutoFill? Thanks in advance.
If you click on manage logins, and choose the one that does not fill in both username and password, have you got both boxes checked on the right hand side for "auto fill" and "enable auto login to be submitted?"
delphinium - I checked and both places are checked. Should I treat both pages as individual login pages? I couldn't get the second page to fill-in, the program doesn't even ask if I want to create a login? I haven't figured out why.
I cannot say for the specific website in question but I do know that several users have reported problems in which the login is either done through a pop-up window or when the password is on a different screen than where you enter the username.
Bank Of America is once such site where it almost never works and I've kind of learned to live with it.
That is an interesting idea PC_confused. If you built each login as a separate page, one with user name, and the other only with the login, I wonder if that might work. Presumably you would have a dropdown when you went to that site so you could choose which one you wanted for either page. At least in a perfect world.

I think I can put a smile on that sad little yellow face. When you go to the BofA site, instead of logging in using the blue Sign In box on the left, instead click the red Sign In link in the upper right corner. This will take you to the main Sign In page. Assuming you are intending to do some online banking, click the blue SIgn In link in the Online Banking section of the SIgn In page. The next two pages, Online ID and SiteKey Passcode, should auto-fill correctly and you can then add me to your list of Online Bill Pay payees.
I'm not sure why this similar sounding scenario is not working for PC_Confused, although two page log-ins are tricky and some of them might not work with Identity Safe due to the way they are implemented. As with BofA, you might look for alternative sign-in options on the site.
It does not work for me unfortunately so I'm afraid you did not yet wipe the smiley sad from my face.
When I went through the process you mentioned, the username got auto-filled but when I clicked Sign In, it said I did not enter my online user ID. BUT when I enter the VERY SAME user ID by hand it works and brings me to the Sitekey passocode page. But that still does not get auto-entered by ID safe.
BOfA has never worked for me with ID safe since I don't know, about 2 or 3 years ago when they started making all those extravagant security changes.
I did give you a Kudo though because obviously this must be working for you.
Yes it does work for me. Have you tried deleting the log-in from Identity Safe and then signing in to BofA as I explained so Norton can save it anew? Might work. I think BofA has a lot of different servers - I know the page I end up at does not prompt Norton to show BofA as an authenticated site and it seems to be just me.
Well, deleting all the BofA entries works for the first one (myself). But when I try to enter a second login username for my husband NIS does not recognize that it is an alternate account and does not prompt me to save the second login.
Progress though.
I will play around with it some more tomorrow. I've gotten so used to it, it doesn't even bother me any more.
Sounds like dual AutoFill Logins work for some people but not everyone? It must not be differences in the PC's OS or software, since AllenM works once but not twice? Guess it will just take a little more time and playing around, to get it working? Thanks to all for your replies and suggestions.
