Welcome Sandi,

Can you tell us a bit more about the details, that's where the devil is. :smileywink:  What are you backing up, when are you backing it up and what is the destination for the backup?

Thanks

Thank you for responding.  I am backing up to my online storage and I'm backing up various data files, documents, picutures.  I have verified that I have enough storage purchased.  When I run the backup  it scans files but completed stays at zero and eventually I get a message stating there was an error no files were backed up.

I have been having the same problem.  My backup completed ONE TIME (last August) and has since failed every time.   One time in early December it actually went to 99% before failing; but every other time it has failed at 0%.  There is no error code or link to a solution; it simply states that there is a problem with the backup and to make sure that the destination drive or device is connected.  Since the destination drive is Norton's servers, I cannot help but think that the problem must be on that end.  I have verified that I have plenty of available storage in my Norton account.  I tried uninstalling (and also manually removing hidden files) of several other programs that were suggested to potentially be interfering.  Still no joy.

Please, somebody... HELP!

Considering the obscure nature of the error messaging it's best if you reach out to support. They'll need to perform a remote desktop support session to try to diagnose what the issue is. They might be able to determine what the mystery error is by reviewing the advanced log files. You can reach them by going to http://www.norton.com/chat..

Try creating a new backup set.  I went online chat and that's what they did so far so good.  Make sure you delete your old backup set after creating the new one.  Hope it works for you as it has for me.
