Hi,
I am using NIS 2010 and have a question about the firewall.
I would like to be able to allow and deny connections made on my PC so for that I can turn off automatic program control (APC) But by default advanced events monitoring is turned off (AEM). Why?
Does it mean because it's not turned on that it doesnt monitor at all or it just means that it's been done automaticly?
When I turn on AEM I get a bit overwhelmed by all the pop-ups . But with APC off I just get questions about which connections I wanna allow and not about code injection and that nice stuff :-). Which works better for me.
I am a little confused about it but I wanna make sure that when I put of APC off that the rest like Automatic Learn IPv6 NAT Traversal Traffic and AEM is still working. . Or maybe better said I am safe when I use APC off and also AEM off and Automatic Learn IPv6 NAT Traversal Traffic off.
and hope my post is a bit clear lol.
Thanks for the help.
