Automatic Program Control OFF / Apply default option in xx seconds

There are a few here that still want full control and knowledge of anything desiring internet access.  So that's the first configuration change I made.

I like the idea beind the default option timeout.  Great for those long Windows update installs or other MS product SP installs with components that all want access during the install.

Personally, I'd prefer an option similar to what you've done in the past.  For example if I elect to turn off the Smart Firewall or similar security feature, I'm offered the option to do that for a specfic amount of time.  So instead of what has been implemented, I'd like to see an option to enable Automatic Program Control for 15 minutes, 1 hour, etc...

1.  Is there a way to disable this new feature?  While enabled, it essentially runs NIS in Automatic Program Control ON mode if your computer is unattended.  So while I'm asleep, anything that NIS determines is safe can access the network without my initial approval.  That essentially defeats the purpose of turning APC OFF.

2.  Is there a way to specify the timeout value?  Just curious.

3.  While the countdown is running, if I choose an access option from the dropdown, the countdown should be dismissed.  A minor problem since 60 seconds should be sufficient time to react.  But if you're late, clicking an access option must be quickly followed by ok/apply or I suspect the default option will be chosen.
