Automatic Renewal

I just found out about Symantec's use of what I believe is a slimy policy of automatic "Opt In" check boxes. Whether legal or not, I  believe this practice is deceptive, deceitful, and treats customers with disrespect. The practice makes me NOT want to use your products, and there are plenty of others to choose from. It makes Symantec appear to be just another money grubbing corporation that doesn't care about it's customers.

 

While a phone call/chat may cure the issue, I shouldn't have to take action to resolve a charge that I wasn't aware of because of a small check in a box I didn't see or wasn't readily apparent.
