Avast SecureLine was on my HP Envy Laptop (Notebook) computer when I bought it brand new. My nephew set up my computer and I noticed that AvastSecureLine was marked disconnected in the taskbar. I asked him about it, and he said he would uninstall it if I wanted him to do so. I said just leave it on as I wasn't sure what it was. By the way he had installed Norton Security for me too. The Norton has been working fine. But do I need Avast SecureLine? When I googled the name it said the following: "A single click launches a VPN and hides your IP address, allowing you to enjoy true privacy. ... On public or private Wi-Fi, open or secure, or on a wired connection. ... Available for your PC, Mac, Android, and iOS."
Should I uninstall the Avast SecureLine or just leave it disconnected? Maybe it got disconnected when Norton Security was installed by my nephew because it wasn't compatible with Norton?
