Hi!
Does somebody knows, if there is any way to get rid of tray red x, that I received when I turned off auto-update, without turning it on again?
360's update is a heavy task for my system, and I prefer to run it manually, at an idle time.
On the other hand, getting the red x all t he time in tray, is really confusing!
There is no way to turn off auto-update without a red x in the tray. I suggest switching to Norton Internet Security 2009 if you feel as if LiveUpdate is resource hungry. LiveUpdate in NIS09 takes about 10 seconds at most and does use several different lucallbackproxy.exe.
Another way is to increase time between update:
Run>luall>Options>Change 240 to something higher.
