OK....now I am really confused. After more than 11 hours of backing up yesterday using Norton Online Backup 2 it failed so none of my files got backed up. However, when I log into today it says I have used 1.56 GB of the available 25 GB. How can have used storage space when my back did not even work?
This was my first attempted backup and when I select download a file, it says there are no files to download. So if there are no files to download, how could I possibly have used up that storage space?
Do you know if they can still recover the space even after I've done a successful backup? I did a small one of only 454MB and it was successful, but the storage used now shows over 2GB.

There shouldn't be any problem deleting the trash. I'd get that done before trying to do any more backups of things that I 'really' want saved
I've contact customer support to see if they can recover my lost space. I managed 2 successfuly backups, but they were very small. Looks like I'll have to do many small ones in order to get my original files uploaded.

Hi,
The smaller backup sets should run faster. Subsequent backups will also be faster. You might vary the time you do your backups, if possible, to take advantage of the hours when the Internet isn't too congested.
Leep in touch, we'll keep the lights burning
