Hello there,
I should have 24GB unused online storage for my back, yet I’m receiving an error message that I have too little storage available and need to purchase additional GB.
I currently have 65GB online storage for back-up; I have selected folders that amount for, as shown in preview, for 41GB; yet, when I want to run the back-up, I’m getting a message that I’m using 68GB and need to purchase more.
Where does the additional 27GB come from?
Appreciate any help (the virtual support-bot ‘Nathan’ is absolutely useless and a waste of time). - thank you in advance.
JJ
Hello
What is the total amount of space currently used? Can you provide a screenshot of the main Norton Online Backup screen?
Hello Wesley
see attached. Preview required size is 41GB. I purchased 65GB of space. I'm using only one computer at this time and previously haven't had any other settings for back-up, except that I added another folder yesterday and bought additional 25GB. The 35+GB that are currently on my online storage should be part of the 41GB that I need now.
Thank you
Hello layesj
Based on the screen shot and additional data provided it's leaning me towards a possible imbalance in the quota. I can have our engineering team take a look at the account to verify and if needed correct. Can you please send me a private message containing the email address associated to your Norton account? It'd also be helpful but not required if you can provide the names of your currently active data sets.
