Ever since I upgraded to Norton Antivirus 2010, when my computer is sitting idle, the backround scan will run everytime reguardless of setting the scan interval to weekly, monthly or quaterly. This means if I let my computer go idle 10 times a day, antivirus idle scan will run 10 times a day.
