I am running Norton 306 Premier Edition on three computers and have purchased Norton online backup storage. I want to backup my laptop and one desktop to NOBU.
I read in "Help" that you need to click "add a computer" and then download "Norton Online Backup" software onto each computer in order to backup more than one computer to Norton online storage. I have done this.
When I install "Norton Online Backup", I receive a warning that running both Norton 360 and Norton Online Backup on the same computer can cause problems such as multiple backups of the same file.
In an attempt to prevent this from happening, I have disabled the backup function in Norton 360 and am only using "Norton Online Backup" to backup.
Does anyone know if what I have done will prevent the potential problem?
Is using "Norton Online Backup" software the only way to backup more than one computer to NOBU storage?
