Backup at 100% is still running, won't Complete

Hi.  N360 online backup has been running for the past 24 hours - which is the correct amount of time.  Progress has been at 100% for the past several hours, and it still says "Transferring".  It will not make the jump to "Complete".  No other apps running.  How can I make it Complete the backup without starting over again?  Thanks.

You might like to put your suggestion in the "Product Suggestions forum".

The issue is that there is only a single progress bar and no twirly animation to let the user know that there is still an active process - the verification.  It would be SO much nicer if Norton added a twirly animation that stayed active during the verification phase.  Even better would be to have TWO progress bars, one for the overall backup and verification, and the other for whatever phase of the backup is currently active.

I am aware that verification takes time but interesting to know that it can be as long as you experienced.  surprise

Hi Mike.  Through an online Norton chat, I found out that after the Backup progress bar gets to 100%, the backup needs to run for hours after that for the file confirmation process.  All that time sitting at 100% had me thinking it was hung-up.  Thanks for your post.

I have only just come across this post (9 June) so I assume that your problem is resolved.  If you still do have a problem then please let us know what has happened and where you are now.  If it is resolved I would be interested in knowing how it was resolved.
