Hello Everyone.
I have a Seagate Hard drive , which is one of the HDs who have firmware problems. I did , however updated it to the lastest firmware, the problem seems to be fixed. but yesterday my HD suddenly started to make bigger noise and became very slow. I gave up fixing it ,and only want to get all the files out.
I tried to copy all the 360Gb of files to another disk. but the process was just taking too long, the copy speed is only 500Kb/sec..
So I'm wondering if it is better to backup the files by using Ghost. Should I use the " One Time Backup" ? And how do I set up the compression for the minimum time usage.( of course, higher compression level means smaller file size, but considering my low copy speed, I'm not sure using a higher compression or copying a lager file which will take shorter time)
or someone could share with me some other solutions ..
Thanks!
Isacco
