Backup error code 14

Matt_Boucher, you assisted @sinewton in and around May 20, 2022 with this error but took the conversation offline. What did you discover to eliminate this problem?

I run backup onto a local hard drive and it gets to a given point and fails with this code. I can run backup again and it gets further than previously (more files are backed up) but still fails with this code. I've been running my backups this way for a number of years and never experienced this until just now, shortly after I renewed my license in November. I run the utility that confirmed that my version is up to date. Can you assist?

If you are attempting to backup encrypted files that is an issue as Norton backup has issues with that. 

What is your OS and its version? - 

What is your Norton product version as installed? - 

Is the Norton VPN enabled during this process? -
