Backup feature repeatedly asking for sign-in details

I hope everyone is well?

As the subject says really, when I perform a backup I keep getting prompted to enter my sign-in details despite being already logged into the desktop application. Here's some additional info:

Norton 360 version: 22.24.3.2 (issue was happening before I upgraded to this, can't remember what the version was before).
PC-Info: Windows 10 Home 64-bit.

I have tried the usual: log out, log back in, restart my computer etc. I have tried simply exiting the prompt several times until the backup eventually just cancels. I have even tried logging in every time it asks but even then it just cancels the backup. Once it has cancelled there is no erro code when you press "View Details" only some text saying the backup couldn't be completed because my account could not be authenticated. Any help here would be most appreciated!

Thanks for the reply. I tried everything you said but no good!

I have managed to fix the problem by simply deleting the entire backup set and creating a new one and running a complete backup again. Seems to be working fine now even when I run it again. Must've been some error somewhere.

not had this issue myself but could a sync issue with the account ( off top my head thinking)

i would try the auto fix

in classic mode top right click help

on left click get support let that run

it may or may not find something ( usually a installation issue )

if it finds anything should let you know what it found and ask for a restart

 

may also want to run the device report its the bottom of scan list
