Backup Issues

I am unable to backup my Apple iPhone with Norton Mobile.  The message I keep receiving says, "You don't have enough space available.  Delete old backups and try again."  I have logged in to my Norton Account, and attempted to delete old backups, but when selecting my iPhone device, I'm taken to a page that has a big orange "!", and says:  "ISSUE!  Norton Mobile Security - Premium Subscription:  Trial".  My subscription has 273 days remaining.  I have not been able to backup my iPhone since January 2017.  I hope you can help me!

If the numbers for backup size are correct, a total of only 173 KB would not be enough to show up in the backup stats where the storage limits start at 2 GB depending on your subscription level.

Check your backup set settings to see if what is being backed up us what you expected to be backed up.

I deleted the files online and now I can run backup and it still does not show that I used any of the backup when I open Norton 360.

1.  Cloud Backup:  0 of 50.00 GB Used   Run Backup

2   Backup of your files and folders is complete:

3.  Details:  All files already backup up

 4.  Backup Sets:  1

5.  Preview File List:  It has a list and one shows 90.1 KB and another one that says 83.0 KB.  Nothing shows that I used any backup on Norton 360.

Did you remove the files from your backup set in the Backup settings in 360, or did you remove the files from the online storage?

To remove files/folders from the online storage, see this Norton Support article.   https://support.norton.com/sp/en/uk/home/current/solutions/v19828933

Glad I could help.

Thank you so much for your help!

You need to log into the Norton Mobile Security web site at    https://mobilesecurity.norton.com

Then click on the device you want to manage, then click on the Backup tab on the left. Scroll down to the bottom of the list of backups. Clicking on a backup will bring up a trash can icon. Click that and that backup will be deleted. Keep doing this until you have maybe the last 10 backups left. This will depend on how often your contacts get changed. .
