I had the trial version installed prior to buying. I had 2 errors pop up everytime I would click on the button “Manage Backup Sets”. They are 8701 & 2380. Apparentley they have to do with the backups. I get diverted to the online chat with a tech guy. I’ve been with them about 4 times and none could help. Another problem which i believe is connected to the others is that when I go to try and use my online storage it I can’t get anywhere near it. If anyone else has this problem please give me some help, I really like this products other features and would hate to send it back for refund if it can be fixed.

I’ve already sent the disk back for a refund. I tried with I think 5 different techs through the online chat and none could help so they diverted me to the refund site. The errors or error was 8701.2380. Everytime I clicked on the “Manage Backup Sets” button I would get a popup diverting me to the online techs. I never had an option to put backups onto a disc of any kind. I also never was able to connect to the online storage to activate it, it always told me to try again later. It sucks that I can’t use 360 because I liked everything else about it and I do need a replacement for Onecare eventually.
I tried a fresh install of Vista and I do not get the errors anymore. I think I might have figured out what may be causing the problem with activating the online storage. I’ve used 2 different email addresses when I activated 360. Is there a way to make sure that my account is only using one email address. I think it may be using one for the activation of 360 and one for the online storage. Also, how do I (on the 2nd or 3rd PC) backup to my PC using a external hard drive that hooked up to my PC?
You should only be able to activate your Online Storage using the email address that you used to register N360 - otherwise you will get an error saying that the account you attempted to activate with did not match the one which the product is registered to. To check out which products you have registered to a particular email/Norton Account you can log in to https://www.mynortonaccount.com and sign in using that norton account.
You can change the backup location in the manage backup section (each version works slightly different). You should be able to change between Online Storage and any hard disk that is currently visible to Windows.

I still can’t log in to the online storage. My plan was to buy more storage so all my PC’s could do automatic backups. Any suggestions?
If you would like, send me an email or a PM with your N360 product key or serial number and I'll have a look at your account and let you know. My email is in my profile.
