I have 4 computers, and I use Norton Backup to back them up onto a single local network drive where I store all my backups. I am trying to use Norton Backup to copy all of the files from one older computer onto a new computer. When I go to Norton 360 Restore Files and try to select the backup set in the Restore From section, I click View All, but none of my Backup Sets from any of my computers appear. All of these Backup Sets were created using the same Norton Account.
I have 6 computers doing backups to cloud storage, and I want to restore a folder from one of the backups to another computer. As above, in the "Restore From", a "View All" does not show me all of the backups. At first, I could only see the backup from the computer I was trying to restore to. I rebooted, and could then see 4 backups, but not the particular one I wanted to restore from.
As an alternative, I thought I could instead use "Restore online backup using a browser". There, I can see all of my 6 backups. However, that interface is very restrictive - it seems I can only restore one file at a time! I want a folder containing sub-folders and quite a few files. Why is that restore using a browser so restrictive?
