Backup settings ignored

I have two backup sets, “default” and “subset”. I am only interested in backing up the files in “subset”. When I check the backup settings it indicates that subset is what will be backed up but when I run the backup it always starts with “default” which takes forever.

I do occasionally backup everything (default) but I don’t know how to keep it from trying to backup up everything all the time.
