Backup Status Overlays don´t show

I can´t see the Backup Status Overlays. I have it set up in Settings but nothing happens to the icons. I use Windows 7 Professional, 32-bit on a HP EliteBook 2530.

Hello Rebo

 

Did you add any file to the Backup set?  [Right click on the file -> Norton 360 -> Add to Backup]. After adding the file do refresh the screen once to notice the Blue overlay

 

Even Exclusions from a backup set will give an overlay for a file.

Thanks for fast response. The Backup Status Overlays switch is set to on.

 

I have tried to switch it off, then restarted the computer, switched it on again and restarted - no overlays shown.

If I rightclick a file I can see on the Backup tab that the it is backed up. So the backup seems to work, it´s just the overlays that I don´t see (no green, no blue, no grey).

Can you please let us know if its not coming suddenly or from the first time you backed up, the icons are not coming?

At times there will be a refresh issue as well.

I have bought a new computer and set up and run Backup for the first time yesterday. On my old computer it worked fine.

Still not working!!

I still can´t get the overlays to work!! Tried to switch it off, rstart, switch on again, restart. The backup is running I can se tha backup status for the files if I right-click them and go to the Backup tab. BUT NO OVERLAYS. Can someone please help me?

Let us know the version of Norton 360 you use, you can find it from Help & Support > About.
