Scenario:
my N360 offers 10 licenses, which I distribute to family members. When setting up the cloud backup, I have to either authenticate myself locally as the owner of the Norton account for each license holder or reveal the password for my account.
In conclusion, anyone could download anyone else’s backups stored in the cloud onto their PC. Is there no data protection within the license users? This must be preventable, or is this how it is intended?
As you have found, the subscription Account holder can share the Backup, but that Account holder has to use their credentials to sign in to activate that backup. And it is a shared backup storage. ie If you have a 100 GB storage it would be shared among all the users you have allowed.
There is no way with the 360 backup to separate the users. This may be a good suggestion for the Product Suggestions forum board.
