I have been infected with the Trojan.Metajuan for several days and am not computer literate enough to remove it. Here is my current situation:
When the box showing the threat appears on Norton, I click to remove but Norton cannot resolve; it detects but cannot remove.
The trojan has turned off "advanced protection" and cannot fix it.
When I try using Google, Yahoo or Goodsearch - I am redirected to "ads" or scams from the trojan.
I cannot use system restore - cannot go to safe mode - nor can I turn off system restore.
I have searched online for assistance but I don't really understand the instructions whenever they begin to get "technical".
I see where Norton support can help but I don't have $99.99 to spend.
I use my home computer for my greyhound rescue and adoptions - it has almost a hundred folders and over a thousand photos I can't lose.
