Firefox 20, Norton Internet Security 20.3.0.36, Vista 32-bit.
Norton has failed to update my Norton Toolbar properly. I have run Live Update and rebooted a half-dozen times.
Firefox Add-ons Manager reports the version as 2013.3.0.26, which is incompatible with FF20. Norton Autofix does not find any issues.
I have looked around for the plug-in files and found:
• in C:\Program Files\Norton Internet Security\Engine\20.3.0.36 there are coffpl19.dll and coFFPlgn.dll, version 2013.3.0.26.
• in C:\Program Files\Norton Internet Security\Engine\20.3.0.36\temp there are coFFPl20.dll, coFFPl1919.dll and coFFPlgn.dll, version 2013.3.4.3.
• in C:\ProgramData\Norton\{0C55C096-0F1D-4F28-AAA2-85EF591126E7}\NIS_20.1.1.2\coFFPlgn there are coffpl19.dll and coFFPlgn.dll, version 2013.3.0.26. Also, install.rdf (dated today) refers to version 2013.3.0.26
How do I get the 2013.3.4.3 files properly installed?
