I'm planning to upgrade from Win 7 Pro to Win 8 Pro. I have the updated latest version of NIS 2012. Must I uninstall NIS 2012 BEFORE upgrading to Win 8? I want to continue using NIS 2012 with my Win 8 Pro upgrade. IF I have to uninstall NIS first, can I simply uninstall from the Start menu? Do I have to get a Norton Removal Tool? My NIS also includes Norton Online Backup. Will I have to also uninstall Norton Backup? Any special reinstall download protocol to follow? Win 8 Upgrade Advisor indicates that NIS is compatible.
