I’m building PCs for family members who are a few thousand miles away. I’ve gotten stuck on how to install Norton Security. This used to be easy - go to the store and buy boxes with CDs. But now I’m not sure how to do it. I thought I had found a way - I downloaded the 30 day trial - installed it - and oops - it immediately asked for a Norton account - preferably theirs I would think.
So what’s the best way to handle this? Get them to try to figure out their passwords and send them to me? (This could take days.) Put them under my own account and later transfer them to their accounts once we figure them out - is this easy? Possible even? Create additional accounts for each of them using my email address and then change the email address later?
Any better ideas?
