After installing Norton Security neither Chrome or Firefox would open websites!!
I contacted Norton Online Help. The tech asked to access my system with LogMeIn
During the process of trying to figure out why Chrome and Firefox wouldn't work the tech made some chanes to the startup and restarted my computer.
Problem!!! It wouldn't restart after that, problem I no longer got a login prompt!!!
It took me three hours of searching online and trying things to fix the problem.
DO NOT LET NORTON SUPPORT SCREW AROUND WITH YOUR SYSTEM OR THEY MAY BRICK IT !!!!!
I uninstalled Norton Security and now both Chrome and Firefox work
I pre-ordered Core and that's why I installed Norton.
I've used many anti-virus programs over the years(AVG, Avasts, etc) and Norton is the only one to cause this kinds of problem.
If I have to use Norton antivirus with Core, I may have to cancel my Core order because Norton seems to be crap-ware!!!
