Had a problem following Windows 10 upgrade in that Norton Identity Safe would not open and also that when I clicked on the Norton icon Norton would not start. Internet Explorer showed that Norton was protecting my system.
I looked for a Norton Help line on Google and saw the "Norton UK Helpline" which also had a phone number which I dialled and was led to believe that I was talking to Norton when, in fact, I was talking to a company called UK Infotech Technology who claimed to be based in Swindon. They went on-line and checked my computer and came up with all sorts of problems and, eventually, presented me with a bill for almost £500 after they uninstalled and re-installed Norton. Advised by Symantec support not to pay the invoice.
