Hello. Earlier tonight, while my brother was on the Internet, a notice from Microsoft popped up regarding his Internet Explorer settings. We had neglected to deal with it, because we just didn't want to bother with it at the time, but I was tired of it coming up, so I agreed to go through it. Among some of the settings for Internet Explorer was something about the Bing search engine. I seleted it and concluded the process.
Later on, I noticed an entry in NIS's history that said things like "You allowed BBSetup to access your network resources.",
"You allowed Microsoft SeaPort Search Enhancement Broker to access your network resources.", "You allowed Bing Client Runtime to access your network resources.". Things like that. Then when I logged onto my account, I noticed the Bing bar appeared to be updated or something, but occasionally, it says something like "The app isn't working and needs to restart." Is it possible I may have inadvertently updated the bing bar for all accounts, or is any of this abnormal behavior? Thanks!
