I have been using NAV for years with Vista and auto renewal. Suddenly I got an exclamation point in the system tray and when I tried to open Norton all I got was part of the title bar - no window. The window was there, I could grab it and move it around, but I couldn't see anything except the desktop. I connected with an online chat tech and he took remote control of my computer and uninstalled Norton. However, it seems he was unable to reinstall it and during a reboot I lost him. I have been trying to reinstall it but now I only get a black screen and I cannot install it because I cannot see the screen to install it! This is the only program I am having problems with. I have updated all drivers (graphics and otherwise) and I cannot find any conflicting virus programs (although I am unable to get Windows Defender to update). Anybody out there got any suggestions? I suppose I should get back on chat with a tech?
