Hello,
Trying to block ALL websites except those listed in the specific web sites to allow list. This worked in the previous version of Internet Security. Is there a way to get the same outcome now?
Thanks.

Thanks for the reply Katie. I do have all categories blocked, but will that only block sites that are determined to meet one of those categories, or will that definitely block all sites except those in the "always allow" list? I know in the previous version of parental controls that once you checked the box to only allow websites listed, it was 100% effective at blocking all other sites.
PArunner,
It should block all the websites except those in the allowed list.
Thanks,
Katie
That sounds like what I'm looking for. However, I'm just having trouble getting it started now. Based on the screen shot below from "View My House Rules" while logged into my son's account, he should be restricted from all sites except ones I've included in the "Always Allow" list. However, it's not blocking any sites at the moment. Please let me know what I have failed to turn on.

PArunner,
Please make sure you log onto the PC as your kid, Tyler, not as you because his windows account is associated with the profile on OnlineFamily.Norton and is being monitored.
Also, please make sure you click UPDATE SETTINGS button after you select all the categories under Settings ->Web.
Thanks,
Katie
Yes, the first screen shot is while logged onto Tyler's accounts ("Kids"). The second 2 are while logged on as Admin. I had just reopened the web settings page to get the screen shot, so it seems to be saving those fine. There must be some other switch I'm missing to turn on. I believe my Norton Internet Security is still the 2009 version, although under Parental controls it now has a link to the OnlineFamily site rather than the old client-based settings. Do I need to update my Norton package to the 2010 version?
Thanks.
PArunner,
You don't need to update to 2010 Norton package. I just sent you a PM. You could access the message by clicking on the

Thanks for the help. Resolution was to uninstall NSM (it's an option under All Programs in XP), then download a new version of NSM and reinstall. So far it is now working correctly.
