Blocked g5 game internet connections

when i launch a g5 game, the connection is blocked.

Detailed description: I have been playing the game “The Secret Society” for some time and have built a fairly large player history. It worked well until a few days ago, but now whenever I try to start the game, I get the message stating the game is not connected to the internet.

OS details: Windows 11

Having the same issue and I cannot get any support response from Norton VPN

You both are referring to the Norton VPN blocking connection correct? Just asking for clarity.

I am having the same problem. I gave to turn off the VPN to connect to the game. I have tried to add the game to an exclusion list with “split tunneling” but can not locate the names of the files to add.

I found “RomePG.uwp_x64.exe” (the only .exe file in that folder and subfolders) in C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\828B5831.JewelsofRomeMatchgemstorestorethecity_1.75.7501.0_x64__ytsefhwckbdv6

I had to make changes to be able to see inside the WindowsApps folder as it is sandboxed and risky to make changes to permissions of access to it. Anyway, I added the file to the exclusion list in Norton VPN. I still get the error, “you are not connected to the internet” after starting the game even with the exe file in the exclusion list. The game will play but does not sync with updates such as team progress etc..

I turn the VPN off and it works fine.
