Blocked PING IN Public ICMP 1 a few Qs about this

Hi Members,

I wasn’t sure if my PC was being targeted with a virus/hacker attempt.

I noticed in Security History that Rule PING IN Public blocked ICMP(1). When I type in IPCONFIG in CMD IPV4 Address and default gateway are the address that show up.

Theres alot of these blocked occurences, should I be concerned or is it normal when you set your internet to public??

Are you using WiFi and are you on a secured home network or unsecured public network? Setting your internet connection to public allows for ICS and printer sharing. I’m not seeing any of these entries in my Norton history at this time with ICS enabled. Set your internet connection to private and restart the machine.
