Hello!

I have a problem that may or may not be a security problem with Norton. I use Firefox 3 and on some webpages Norton pops up saying he has found and blocked a worm intrusion attempt, It doesn’t appear to be any single site causing this. Then Firefox refuses to load any other webpages. However files that I have begun to stream will continue to stream and I can always reach my home page (firefox’s default google).

Since the 2 denominating factors are Firefox and Norton I’m asking both if this is a problem anyone has brought up before.

Thank you in advance,
Brandon

Brandon,

Please send me a message via the community Private Messenger system (look for the in the upper right hand corner of any community page.) Include the URLs for the webpages that are being detected with an intrusion. The behavior of Firefox after an intrusion has been detected varies based upon the type of intrusion detected. It may also be intermittent because frequently the intrusions are within ads, which usually change from visit to visit.
