Actually it was a Dell salesperson.   I checked with them after configuring a system on line ... and getting the message that NIS wouldn't work with the bluetooth keyboard/mouse option.    The salesperson didn't know anything about why.

Thanks.  I haven’t been able to find any info supporting what Dell told me so I’m tempted to give it a try.

I have been using the Logitech MX™ 5000 Laser bluetooth keyboard and mouse for a couple of years now and have had no problems. I cant see why a Dell computer would have problems with this. Perhaps it’s because Dell supply Mc Alfee security centre.

Thanks to all.  I’m going to take a chance and go w/ the bluetooth.  Funny thing … this time when I was configuring a system online, I didn’t get the message when choosing NIS.   I’ll let you know if I have any problems.
