Bombarded nearly daily by ads

I don’t appreciate haven spent good money for protection only to have Norton constantly use “scare tactic ads” to tell me I need to spend more money to be properly protected. I find Norton to be using a misleading and borderline scam bait and switch type of business to lure me in with one price for “all” the protection I need and then sending me warnings and alerts that I am not fully protected.

I agree totally. We pay a premium price for lots of bit subscriptions - everything is a separate costed addition. And when you go to the ‘dashboard’ , the 2nd item in the line up of things to do is a promotion for something that you don’t have (if we wanted it we would have got it). Either, there is no way to eliminate these, OR it will cost us to get rid of it :rage:

I have same issue with there bait & switch scare tactics.

I am in the process of researching any pending class action litigation against this s.

Hello @GaryC_Clark
are you United States?

I agree with all this frustration. I’ve come to hate Norton, Utilities Ultimate in particular, which keeps flagging incorrect scare issues to push an upsell, including for their pathetic Driver Updater. I don’t want it. I don’t need it. I can’t turn off the nuisance notifications because they’ve deliberately removed every opportunity to so so. A pox on all their houses! I will not renew this subscription. I’ve had enough!

I am upset about this same subject. I went to what I thought was performing a ‘scan’ for outdated drivers (I purchased this AFTER my initial purchase) THEY CHARGE ME FOR ANOTHER SUBSCRIPTION. I called to have it reversed and it was such a nightmare (I am a senior and I do try to not get agitated) I just gave them the $45. YESTERDAY, I was charged AGAIN $35 for yet another OUTDATED DRIVERS software “I DID NOT purchase!” I have spent a small fortune on Norton and I am so disappointed in them. I had it years ago and it was wonderful. So upsetting
