I had Norton installed on my Toshiba laptop which has given up the ghost. I took the hard drive out and put it into a USB enclosure. I can access my files on it, but I can't boot to it. It hangs on crcdisk.sys. I've read that among other things, Norton could be causing it. How can I remove or disable Norton from boot. This hard drive is also a dual boot with Ubunto. Ubunto boots fine.
