Bootable Recovery Tool NBRT.ISO Fehler nach booten WIndows 10 64 UEFI Boot

Hallo zusammen,

nachdem die Supportabteilung mitgeteilt hat, dass das NBRT - Tool nicht mehr beraten wird, möchte ich mich an das Forum wenden.

Nachdem ich meinen PC Windows 10 64-Bit neu aufgesetzt habe, würde ich gern für alle Fälle eine startbare DVD mit dem

Norton Bootable Recovery Tool erstellen, um auch Schadsoftware im Bootvorgang zu erkennen.

Ich habe das NBRT-ISO heruntergeladen und in Windows 10 über "auf DVD brennen" ein Medium erstellt.

Aber egal ,welche Einstellung ich für das Booten mache (UEFI + Legacy Boot) , die DVD bootet und nach ca 20 Sekunden

kommt ein Fehler (siehe Screenshut im Anhang). Auf meinem Laptop mit MBR-Boot Sektor läuft die DVD einwandfrei.

Nun meine Frage: läuft das NBRT Tool nicht unter Windows 10 64-Bit ?  Was kann ich machen, damin ich eine bootfähige

DVD mit dem Virusscan erstellen kann ?

Vielleicht hat schon mal jemand einen ähnlichen Fall gehabt.

Hallo Jeff,

mit Rufus habe ich auch schon probiert, aber es kommt auch die Fehlermeldung.

Wahrscheinlich ist das NBRT-Tool wirklich zu alt. Es wäre schön, wenn es für

UEFI-Boot eine neue Version geben würde.

Erst mal werde ich das so akzeptieren und damit abschließen.

I've tried with Rufus, but there's also the error message. Probably the NBRT tool is really too old. It would be nice if there was a new version for UEFI boot. First of all, I will accept this and conclude it with it. Christoph.

Hi Christoph,

We have found using Rufus to burn the image to USB to be more reliable. See the Create bootable USB instructions here.

The Linux image NBRT is built on is getting a bit old and may end up being the real problem. If that is the case, we are months away from solving that problem.

Hopefully Rufus saves the day.

das mit dem Schnellstart hatte ich schon gelesen und es ist bereits deaktiviert.

Komisch ist, das der Bootvorgang beginnt und dann erst der Fehler kommt.

I only provided a translation so those with experience with the NBRT can help. I have no experience with it.

The only thing I can offer is to ensure that Boot Time Protection in your Norton security product is set to Aggressive. That will start Norton's protection very early in the boot process that can help prevent anything malicious getting loaded.

Ich habe nur eine Übersetzung zur Verfügung gestellt, damit diejenigen mit Erfahrung mit dem NBRT helfen können. Ich habe keine Erfahrung damit.

Ich kann nur sicherstellen, dass der Startzeitschutz in Ihrem Norton-Sicherheitsprodukt auf "Aggressiv" eingestellt ist. Dadurch wird der Schutz von Norton sehr früh im Startvorgang gestartet, um zu verhindern, dass böswillige Inhalte geladen werden.

After the support department informed that the NBRT tool is no longer being advised, I would like to contact the forum.

After I have set up my PC Windows 10 64-Bit again, I would like a bootable DVD with the

Create Norton Bootable Recovery Tool to detect malware in the boot process.

I downloaded the NBRT ISO and created a medium in Windows 10 using "Burn to DVD".

But no matter what setting I make for booting (UEFI + Legacy Boot), the DVD boots and after about 20 seconds

an error occurs (see screenshut in the appendix). The DVD runs flawlessly on my laptop with an MBR boot sector.

Now my question: does the NBRT tool not run on Windows 10 64-bit? What can I do to make it a bootable

Can create a DVD with the virus scan?

Maybe someone has had a similar case before.
