Hello,
I have a dual disk PC with WinXP Pro SP3/BootMagic 8.0 on disk 1
(sda) and SuSE Linux on disk 2 (sdb). I can boot either OS without
any problems, EXCEPT ...
when I try to boot WinXP Pro in Safe Mode with Networking by
repeatedly tapping F8 and then selecting the desired boot mode
from the Windows Advance Options Menu.
The boot sequence is not what is described above ... sequence is:
BootMagic GUI is displayed first, followed by Windows Advance
Options Menu. When I select Safe Mode with Networking...WinXP
Pro starts-up in SAFE MODE...NO NETWORKING.
Is BootMagic preventing boot in SafeMode with Networking?
Is there a workaround?
Could a virus have attacked PartitionMagic/BootMagic?
Thanks for your help!
