Norton has always only officially supported the ‘mainstream’ browsers. Edge, Chrome, Firefox. I don’t know what would be involved in supporting the lesser used browsers, especially as many are Chromium based. My Brave browser does not trigger Norton to realize I have installed SafeWeb extension, and says extensions are not installed. The installed extensions do work correctly, so I just ignore the message on the main 360 screen.
As for disabling the warning, it is hard coded into the product. Just like all the marketing popups for additional features you can buy.
