I recently had a browser hijack, related to BSOD error code 0x80060402. When I accessed Microsoft Edge, it turned my computer on alarm, and also shows a phone number required me to contact. I knew it's faked, and found a way to fix the problem by using edge setting, choose what to clear, to clean browsing history, cookies, download history, etc. Afterward, edge states "some data could not delete." Then, I used Norton Security to do a full system scan. The problem was gone, but I am not sure this virus had been erased completely. Does any one from Norton Tech team can confirm it?
