Browser prompts

When I open a browser, Norton Anti-Virus hijacks it with a new tab stating "Don't forget browser protection!", showing a smiling girl in a plaid shirt wearing glasses and talking on a smart phone, and tries to get me to "Install All Extensions." I don't want to install any extensions and I want Norton to stop hijacking my browser. It's an advertisement for something I do not want. It is about as close to nefarious behavior as one can get with an application.

How can I make this stop? (NOTE: It is NOT affected by turning off Special Offer Notifications under Administrative Settings.)

What I have seen is that just closing that browser tab would satisfy Norton's need to remind you. Unfortunately, after an update to some Norton feature from LiveUpdate will revive this tab's appearance. Close tab again. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Maybe, try installing Norton Safe Web => cycle browser => satisfy Norton that you've seen their page => disable/remove Safe Web.

Note: that Norton extensions page &or Norton extensions related popups will not be satisfied 100%.
The next/every Norton 360 product update will bring extensions related page/popup events.

22.24.5.6 product update prompted popup extensions notices for Chrome/Edge/Firefox that I had previously opted Don't Show Me Again.
